Guatemala is the third country I’ve been to more than once. And now Tikal is the first archeological site I’ve been to more than once. But beware of the jaguars.

But first, we stopped at Yaxhá.

This is right next door to Tikal, in a parkd with three other Mayan cities (Topoxte, Nakum and Naranjo), but much less visited.

The site is on a lake, and supposedly you can even enter that way.

Of course it is also nice when you get to climb to the top of the buildings.
