On Wednesday we saw the main center of the ruins at Copán which lightly visited on that day. But on Thursday it was just the guide, six archeological workers, and me at the area called Rastojón.
Many buildings, like this one, were built on limestone which is why they are now 50 feet downhill from where they started. Oops.
This is a relatively recently uncovered site, so there is still active work going on in view.
Also visited today was the residential area of Sepultura.
The Sky Bar represents astronomical views. Here can be seen the moon, the sunset, and the Milky Way monster.
